Inspired by the periodic table

Abstract

This work is actually a compilation of seven texts. We decided to write them taking into account a set of publications in a European chemistry journal due to the celebration of the International Year of the Periodic Table. From the elements selected by some Editorial Board members, we check and comment several aspects about the followings: Carbon, Mercury, Sulfur, Hydrogen, Silver, Gold and Cupper.
