Future teachers go through a stage of critical training in contexts of forced virtuality, which represents a valuable opportunity to address the challenges of significantly integrating ICT into their learning by promoting the development of digital competences. In order to know the degree of perception held by teaching students regarding the development of the digital competence "Communication and collaboration" achieved in time of pandemic, 42 Chemistry teaching students from an Argentine state university were asked to complete two instruments designed for this purpose, one is a KPSI and the other is a questionnaire on ICT uses. The analysis of the results obtained from the application of these instruments shows an evolution in relation to the improvement of the perception of this competence after the completion of the courses that coincides with the stage of virtualization of education during 2020.
