Abstract

In the context of the pandemic, the Statistics course (Bachelor in Chemical and Bromatological Analysis) of Universidad Nacional de Misiones (Argentina) used the teaching strategy known as problem-based learning. The main objective of this didactic proposal was to achieve a significant learning of statistics, stimulating critical thinking and collaborative work. The didactic strategy of problem-based learning, allowed integrate theoretical concepts, the promotion of asking questions, the application of different statistical analyzes and collaborative work. This activity required effort and collaborative work in which the students were involved in their own learning. They showed enthusiasm and interest, which allowed inferring the acceptance of this new learning proposal. Therefore, this new modality will be implemented in the post-pandemic classes.
