Some tips on writing articles

Abstract

Here are some of the recommendations that Wiley-VCH editor Richard Threlfall shared with attendees at the IUPAC International Congress in Paris last July. Based on this material, belonging to the Asian Chemical Editorial Society (ACES), we will include the translation of several paragraphs that seemed especially pertinent to us, and in other cases, we have reworded some according to the editorial interest of our magazine, always maintaining the line of thought and the structure presented by the author. At the end, we will discuss the possible relationships between the "classic" articles of chemical research and those that belong to the field of "chemical education" to comment on some points of view that arise from reading this text, and for this, we propose a challenge for those who dare to pick up the glove.
