The learning of values through routines that make thoughts visible
Keywords:
thinking routines, social value of science, teaching of chemistryAbstract
The teaching-learning of values linked to scientific knowledge has been part of the curricular designs at the secondary level in Argentina. However, in the case of school texts, they are often nothing more than a decontextualized proposal disconnected from the class theme and, at other times, relegated to an activity at the end of the chapter. With the idea of establishing a joint search and exploration of the ideas, making them visible in the interaction in the classes, we propose the work by means of a routine of thought. The work is oriented to encourage among the students the discussion, confrontation and critical reflection of the own social practices in front of the social construction on a certain critical subject for the humanity.
